Dana’s experience spans fifteen years in traditional and digital media. After attending the University of Arkansas, Dana worked as a television news reporter, producer, and morning show anchor at KNWA News in Fayetteville. When KNWA expanded to include a Fox station, Dana helped spearhead the launch of Fox News Edge, Northwest Arkansas' first primetime newscast. The fast-paced, hour-long news program was the first in the region to prominently feature social media interactions with viewers throughout the show. Dana left television news to work in digital marketing and publishing, spending two years establishing an online and social media presence for Celebrate Magazine. In 2014, Dana created the #BentonvilleLovehashtag movement to aggregate photos of the collective experiences within her hometown. To date, the hashtag has been used 5,000+ times on Instagram featuring photos from users that showcase community events, landmarks, small businesses, art, music and the growing culinary scene in Bentonville. In 2016, #BentonvilleLove transitioned intoHello Local, a company dedicated to celebrating the community and supporting local businesses. Hello Local produced locally-themed shirts and souvenirs, and offered products from 75+ small makers, creators, and artisans in one downtown retail location. Dana shifted back to her marketing roots in mid-2019 as the founder of New Path Agency. A 30+ year resident of Northwest Arkansas, Dana lives with her husband and two children in her hometown of Bentonville. She currently serves on the Executive Board of Directors for Downtown Bentonville, Inc.
